Klaus LEROCH
MSc PhDKlaus Leroch is a water and sanitation expert with more than 10 years experience in the sector. He is a specialist for design and operation of water supply facilities and wastewater disposal and treatment infrastructure. In his PhD work Klaus concentrated on alpine hydrology and on the modelling of runoff in ungauged catchments. Klaus has practical working experience in the field of water supply, wastewater and storm water disposal, wastewater treatment, and solid waste management and engineering in Africa as well as in Latin America, CEE and CIS countries. His most recent projects included the preparation of feasibility studies, the design and conduction of R&E projects, the design and application of hydrological models, the design of water and wastewater infrastructure including the compilation of operation & maintenance instructions, and the supervision of construction works, amongst others in Albania, BiH, Tajikistan, Mozambique, and El Salvador. Klaus Leroch is also an expert regarding lean technologies in wastewater treatment for decentralised wastewater treatment.
Language skills: mother tongue - German, fluent in English, working knowledge in French and Spanish, basic Russian.
